Catholic parish exists not merely as a geographical boundary or a place of worship, but as a living, breathing community of faith\u2014called together to worship God, grow in discipleship, and serve one another in love. In our current context, many parishes across England and beyond are being challenged to reimagine how they operate in light of pastoral needs, aging congregations, and the call to evangelisation.<\/p><p>In this spirit, we have recently created a new \u201cParish Mission Group\u201d: a small, focused team of parishioners working directly alongside the Parish Priest to develop, articulate, and implement a shared pastoral vision for our parish.<\/p><p>The core purpose of the Parish Mission Group is to support the Parish Priest in identifying, prioritising, and animating the spiritual and pastoral dimensions of parish life.
